Tomas Karlsson avslutar sin tjänst som herrchef

Tomas Karlsson avslutar den 15 juli sin tjänst på Svenska Skidförbundet. Tomas tog över rollen som herrchef 1 juli 2014.

Skidförbundet och Tomas har kommit överens om att avsluta Tomas tjänst som herrchef i det alpina landslaget efter ett år på posten.

– Det här året har inte riktigt blivit som jag hade tänkt, jag har inte fått ihop laget som jag velat. Så nu väljer jag att gå vidare och har en annan intressant tjänst på gång, säger Tomas Karlsson.

– Vi är överens med Tomas om detta och tycker naturligtvis det är tråkigt när ett kontrakt avslutas i förtid. Vi vill tacka honom för de insatser han gjort under det gångna året och önskar Tomas lycka till med sina nya utmaningar, säger alpina chefen Ville Bylin.

Tomas Karlsson moves on

Tomas Karlsson will be leaving the Swedish Ski Association on 15th July. Tomas has worked as the men’s head coach since 1st July 2014.  

The Swedish Ski Association and Tomas have come to the conclusion to part ways after one season with Tomas as head coach for the men’s national team.

– This year did not really go as I had planned; I could not bring the team together as I had wanted. So that’s why I have chosen to move on and will pursue another interesting opportunity, says Tomas Karlsson.

– We came to mutual decision with Tomas even if we are sorry to end the contract prematurely. We thank him for his efforts during the past year and wish him all the best with his new challenges, says alpine director Ville Bylin.
